Bianca Juarez Olthoff was born on April 6, 1980, in California, US. Her Mexican father, Pancho Juarez, was once a missionary and is now the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel, Montebello. Her mother hailed from Puerto Rico. She has three siblings, including her twin sister Jasmine Star, a renowned photographer. Bianca’s mother began battling cancer when she was 21, facing various types of cancer since then.
Raised in East Los Angeles, Bianca, along with her siblings, was homeschooled by her mother. Their family experienced two break-ins due to the tough neighborhood. At 11, Bianca struggled with reading, but later, she attended college and grad school.
Career
Pastor Bianca is a public speaker and Bible teacher dedicated to sharing and teaching the word of God. She previously served as the creative director for Propel Women and hosts the ‘We’re Going There’ podcast, discussing faith, love, race, and other relevant life aspects.
As an author, Bianca has written and published two books. She is the founder of the non-profit organization ‘In The Name Of Love,’ committed to changing lives through Christ. Alongside her husband, Matt Olthoff, Bianca leads Father’s House as the lead pastor. Additionally, she serves as the chief storyteller for the anti-trafficking non-profit organization A21.
Bianca and Matt met on the dating website eHarmony in 2009, and he proposed to her at J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles, on April 6, 2010, which was also Bianca’s birthday. They got married on September 7 of the same year. The couple has two children, Parker and Ryen, and they live together in Orange County, California.
