Introduction: Prayer For Divine Favour.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your divine favor upon our lives. Your Word assures us that Your favor surrounds the righteous like a shield (Psalm 5:12). We stand on Your promises, believing that Your favor will bring blessings, breakthroughs, and abundant grace into our lives.
Opening Invocation
Lord, we praise You for Your goodness and mercy. We acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). We thank You for Your unfailing love and the favor You bestow upon Your children.
Confession and Request for Forgiveness
Father, we confess our sins and ask for Your forgiveness. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Cleanse us, Lord, and prepare our hearts to receive Your favor.
Petition for Favor in Daily Life
Lord, we seek Your favor in every aspect of our lives. Proverbs 3:3-4 reminds us, “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” Help us to walk in love and faithfulness, that we may find favor with You and with others.
Favor in Relationships
Father, we ask for Your favor in our relationships. Proverbs 18:22 says, “He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.” Bless our marriages, friendships, and family bonds with Your favor. Let our interactions be filled with grace and understanding, bringing honor to Your name.
Favor in Work and Finances
Lord, grant us favor in our workplaces and finances. Psalm 90:17 says, “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.” Prosper our efforts, give us success in our endeavors, and provide for our needs according to Your riches in glory.
Favor for Guidance and Wisdom
Father, we seek Your favor in guidance and wisdom. Psalm 84:11 says, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” Illuminate our paths, grant us wisdom in our decisions, and lead us in the way we should go.
Favor in Times of Need
Lord, we ask for Your favor in times of need and difficulty. Isaiah 58:11 assures us, “The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” Be our source of strength and provision, even in challenging times.
Thanksgiving for Divine Favor
We thank You, Lord, for the favor You have already shown us. Psalm 30:5 reminds us, “For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” We are grateful for Your enduring favor that brings joy and blessings into our lives.
Closing Invocation
In all things, may Your divine favor be evident in our lives, Lord. Numbers 6:24-26 declares, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” Let Your gracious face shine upon us, filling us with Your peace and favor.
