Pastor Joshua McCauley is the only son of his parents, Pastors Ray and Lyndie McCauley, who founded Rhema Bible Church in 1985. His parents divorced in 2000 when he was 15, and his father, Pastor Ray McCauley, remarried Zelda Ireland in 2001. After the divorce, Pastor Ray faced challenges, losing a significant part of his congregation. Despite this, Pastor Ray McCauley is recognized as one of the top 10 richest pastors in Africa and is considered a notable figure in the Kingdom of God.

Joshua McCauley is married to Tara McCauley, who was a member of Rhema Church Randburg, South Africa. They’ve been married for over twelve years and have three children – two sons named Jonathan and Joel, and a daughter named Hannah.
