Stacie and Andy, together, moved to Orange County to lead Saddleback Church after Rick Warren’s retirement. Pastor Andy Wood officially started his role at Saddleback Church on September 12, 2022.
Andy Wood’s Allegation
After Wood became the new leader at Saddleback Church, someone from Echo Church, where he works now, talked on social media about Wood’s leadership.
Wood told Saddleback Church leaders about the accusations during interviews and said he could show them proof of his encounter with the former staff member. Rick Warren, the previous pastor, confirmed that Andy and Stacie Wood didn’t hide the allegation.
After that, the church investigation team looked into it and found no evidence to support the claims against Pastor Wood.
The church sent a message to the congregation saying, “Our elders got a second report from The Vanderbloemen Search Group, and it clears Pastor Wood of all claims.”
