Biography
Lovy Longomba Elias was born on November 25, 1985, in Nairobi, Kenya. He has Congolese and East African roots. His dad, Lovy Longomba Sr., was part of Orchestra Super Mazembe, and his grandfather, Vicky Longomba, was in the jazz group TPOK.
After finishing high school, Elias started his music career. He formed Longombas, a hip-hop/soul trio, with his brother Christian and cousin Marengo. The group gained recognition and awards in Kenya.
In 2007, Elias and his brother moved to Los Angeles, and the trio split. He turned to preaching and focused on composing and producing for famous artists. Elias was credited for his work on the Grammy-nominated song “Change Your Life” by Iggy Azalea in 2014.
In 2020, Elias changed his name to Lovy Elias. He shared a statement about his brother Christian’s passing on March 14, 2021, mentioning Christian’s struggle with a prolonged illness and his transition to heaven.
Education
On April 3, 2021, Elias got an honorary doctorate degree from Next Dimension University, which is a Bible school even though it’s not officially accredited.

Prophet Lovy Revelation Church
In 2013, Elias started a prayer group in Woodland Hills, California. He held weekly talks, bible studies, and built a community from his living room. His teachings focused on revelatory teaching, prophetic prophecy, deliverance, healing, miracles, signs, and wonders. Later, Elias founded the Jesus Christ Revelation Church.
By 2016, the prayer group outgrew the living room, so Elias began renting space in Van Nuys, California. On July 14, 2016, he started holding fellowships there. In 2017, Elias became the head pastor of Revelation Church of Jesus Christ. The church has grown to over a thousand members, with many more joining online. People often describe the services as “miracle-filled.” Elias is also a life coach for celebrities and athletes.
On April 3, 2019, Prophet Lovy Elias began live-streaming his lectures on platforms like YouTube and Facebook. He continues to do so, and all past classes are stored on YouTube.
On February 7, 2021, Elias moved the headquarters and worship center of Revelation Church of Jesus Christ to Simi Valley, California. He delivers sermons every Thursday and Sunday for the church.
