Christine Caine was born on the 23rd of September, 1966, in Australia. She, along with her brother, was adopted at birth by Greek immigrants. They grew up in public commission housing in Lalor Park, New South Wales, Sydney. Her parents, Greek Orthodox immigrants, raised her in a traditional Greek Orthodox home, attending services with liturgy in ancient Greek.
Christine attended Lynwood Park Public School and Blacktown Girls High School. At the age of 33, she discovered that she and her brother were adopted from different biological mothers, and she was recorded as ‘unnamed,’ identified as number 2508 of 1966.
Facing several years of childhood sexual abuse, Christine struggled deeply with her faith and belief in God. Today, Pastor Christine is an ordained minister and global ambassador for Hillsong Church. She is also an international author, activist, speaker, and preacher.

Christine, along with her husband Nick Caine, started the A21 campaign in 2008 to fight human trafficking, represented by the acronym A21 for Abolishing Injustice In The 21st Century.
The couple is renowned for founding The A21 Campaign, a nonprofit organization combating human trafficking globally. In 2015, Christine initiated Propel Women, an organization empowering and activating women in their passion, purpose, and potential.
The A21 campaign operates in 11 countries with 12 offices and 5 victims’ aftercare programs. Through their awareness campaign, Christine and Nick have reached over a million people.
