Biography

Bishop McClendon was born on June 7, 1965, in Decatur, Illinois, to Levi and Miriam McClendon. He started preaching and leading church services at the age of 15. At 19, he took on his first role as a pastor.

In 1991, he moved to Los Angeles and became the pastor of West Adams Foursquare Church, later renamed Church of the Harvest in 1995. By 1997, he had also started working as a televangelist.
